FROM BOLLYWOOD TO BEESTON: MP DARREN HENRY SENDS HARESH SOOD GOOD WISHES FOR RED CARPET WORLD PREMIERE AT ARC CINEMA.

The Right Honourable Darren Henry, Member of Parliament for Broxtowe, has expressed his utter delight to a local filmmaker Haresh Sood for having his first feature film premiered (to the world) at the Beeston Arc Cinema this Diwali.

My Nieces Big Fat Delhi Wedding has taken the world film festival circuit by storm by being showcased to more than 100 festivals globally. So far, the film has been officially selected and awarded in 40 different categories at festivals including, the Chhatrapati Shivaji International film festival, right in the heart of Bollywood. Furthermore, Singapore, New York, Toronto, Calcutta, Paris, Druk, Los Angeles, Texas, and London have also selected the film as it continues to receive further recognition.  All over social media platforms, the trailer has captivated audiences with its vibrancy and feel-good factor which Haresh made as part of his MA project; it has won ‘Best Trailer’ category at Barcelona and Turkey film festivals. Darren Henry says; "I am delighted that My Niece’s Big Fat Delhi Wedding is being premiered at the Arc Cinema in Beeston. This film is a fantastic demonstration of Haresh Sood’s work and demonstrates the amount of talent and potential emerging from our community. I want to offer my congratulations to all of those who have been a part of this exciting project."
The film is showing all across the Diwali weekend at Arc Cinemas Hucknall and Beeston from, 4-7 November 2021 onwards.
